Our approach is consistent: we look at regulation and how client funds are protected, the minimum deposit, trading costs, the platforms on offer (such as MetaTrader 4 and 5 or a broker's own app), and how reliably withdrawals are processed. We draw on brokers' own documentation, regulator records and hands-on testing, and we revisit reviews when a broker changes its terms — or when a brand is acquired or closes, as with optionsXpress and TD Ameritrade. We remain independent of the brokers we cover and never accept payment in exchange for a favourable review.
